Insulated Tap Connectors – 2-Port, Single-Side Entry (6 AWG–350 MCM)
Clean, code-ready line-side or feeder taps with a compact single-side entry design. UV-resistant plastisol body, pre-filled oxide inhibitor, and removable port plugs for fast, professional installs.
Key Features
- 2-Port, Single-Side Entry — quick, tidy routing in tight panels and meter/main enclosures.
- Wide Range — accepts conductors from 6 AWG to 350 MCM (see variant/size selection).
- Pre-Filled Oxide Inhibitor — reduces galvanic corrosion, stabilizes long-term resistance.
- Removable Port Plugs — keeps debris and moisture out before termination.
- UV-Resistant Plastisol Insulation — smooth, rounded profile for safe handling; abrasion & chemical resistant.
- Set-Screw Termination — high-pressure, low-resistance connections with hardened steel screws.
- Time-Saving — no taping required; install and close the cover.
- NEC 230.46 Use-Case — for line-side connections when used with listed & labeled devices; verify with local AHJ.

Install Notes
- Verify conductor size falls within the connector’s marked range (6 AWG–350 MCM).
- Strip insulation per spec; keep strands intact. Do not pre-twist.
- Insert conductor fully; tighten set screw to manufacturer torque (see spec sheet).
- Leave protective plugs on unused ports until termination is complete.
- Inspect for full engagement and proper strain relief before energizing.
