Split, combine and power a coax run.
F-type coax splitters in 2-, 3- and 4-way for three jobs: 5-1000 MHz CATV and digital cable (SCTE high return loss, non-power passing or one-port power passing), 5-2300 MHz satellite and DBS (all-port, one-port, or non-power passing), and 5-900 MHz over-the-air antenna distribution. Plus a UHF/VHF-to-satellite diplexer with 2 A DC pass and a 2.3 GHz power inserter for LNBs and amplified antennas. Nickel-plated zinc housings, grounding block ready. Case quantities for cable, satellite and MDU technicians; same-day shipping on in-stock items.
Which splitter
| Signal | Bandwidth | Power passing |
|---|---|---|
| Cable TV / cable internet | 5-1000 MHz | Not needed (use non-power passing); one-port if an amplified antenna shares the line |
| Satellite (DirecTV, Dish, DBS) | 5-2300 MHz | Yes: LNB needs DC. One-port if the receiver powers the dish; all-port for multi-receiver |
| Over-the-air antenna | 5-900 MHz | Only if a preamp is on the mast (one-port) |
| Antenna and dish on one coax | Diplexer | Combines 5-806 and 950-2150 MHz, 2 A pass |
Every split loses signal: 3.5 dB on a 2-way, 5.5 on a 3-way, 7 dB on a 4-way. Terminate unused ports with 75 Ω caps. Filters: device type, ways, connector. Related: RG6 coax · F-connectors · amplifiers and DirecTV SWM · OTA antennas · Technician pricing →
