1000 V vs 1500 V: residential strings top out under 600 V, so 1000 V connectors are fine; commercial and utility strings run 1500 V and need 1500 V rated connectors and wire. Never mate different brands on a 1500 V string; use pairs from one maker or Evo2-to-Evo2.
