The tin-plated finish provides corrosion resistance. For wet or corrosive environments, seal the completed termination with adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing to prevent moisture ingress.

Can this lug be used with aluminum conductors?

No. This lug is specified for copper cable only. Do not install with aluminum conductors.
