Where & why irreversible compression
NEC 250.64(C) requires grounding electrode conductors to be continuous or joined with irreversible compression connectors or exothermic welding - standard mechanical clamps are not permitted for buried or concealed GEC splices. These UL 467 listed connectors are rated for direct burial in earth or concrete. Range: cable / 1 in rod.
