Product Description

Built for demanding PV installations, the Female MC4 Evo2 LR5 supports 6–8 AWG photovoltaic conductors to help reduce voltage drop on higher-current string runs and simplify balance-of-system (BOS) design. The connector interface is precision-engineered to maintain ≤ 0.5 mΩ contact resistance, helping limit resistive losses and heat buildup over the system lifecycle.

The housing system provides IP67 ingress protection when installed and mated correctly, supporting outdoor deployments exposed to rain, dust, humidity, and temperature extremes. Constructed from PPO + PA engineering polymers with a UL94-V0 flammability rating, the connector is designed for reliable operation across −40°C to +90°C.
