High-density multimode assemblies built on Corning® ClearCurve® 50/125 μm bend-insensitive fiber with DuPont™ Kevlar® aramid strength members. Low-insertion-loss MPO/UPC female (pinless) connectors, LSZH 3.0 mm jacket, default Type-B polarity, and color coding for OM3 (Aqua), OM4 (Magenta), and OM5 (Lime Green). Available as straight MPO trunks or MPO-to-LC/SC/FC/ST breakouts.

What’s included with a breakout assembly?
MPO trunk with factory fan-out to LC/SC/FC/ST; default LC branch length is 0.6–1.0 m (custom on request).
Female vs male MPO—what’s the difference?
Female is pinless with alignment holes; male has alignment pins. Match gender to your transceivers/cassettes.
Why is Type-B polarity the default?
Type B preserves straight-through lane mapping common to cassette/transceiver systems; Types A/C are available.
Expected loss in the field?
Spec ≤0.35 dB per mated pair (≤0.30 dB typical). Total link loss depends on length and number of mated pairs.
Is the fiber bend-insensitive?
Yes—Corning® ClearCurve® MMF improves margin in dense routing and tight trays.
SR4/SR8 transceiver support?
Yes—match core count/lane mapping (8-fiber for SR4, 16-fiber for SR8) and confirm polarity/keying.
Keying (Key-Up/Key-Down) requirements?
Type-B trunks typically use Key-Up to Key-Up. If your hardware differs, specify keying in the PO.
Can I mix OM classes?
Possible but not recommended; performance follows the lowest OM class on the path.
Are test reports provided?
Serialized IL/RL results and end-face inspection images available on request.
Minimum bend radius?
≥10 mm at the fiber core and ≥7.5 mm at the jacket to minimize micro-bend loss.
Pulling/tensile guidance?
80 N short-term. Use proper pulling grips and avoid exceeding limits; never pull on connectors.
Is the jacket halogen-free?
Yes—LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) for improved life-safety in occupied spaces.
Operating/storage temperature?
Operating −10 to +70 °C; storage −40 to +85 °C.
