A panel-mount DC power socket for bringing 12 V battery power to a Starlink Mini through a wall, cabinet, dash or battery-box panel. The round black flange sits flush against the panel and fastens with three screws, a tethered rubber dust cap closes the port when it isn't in use, and short red and black pigtail leads on the back connect to your fused DC supply.
Features
- Round flange with 3 screw holes for a secure, low-profile panel mount
- Tethered rubber dust cap that stays attached when it's open
- DC barrel-style port on the front for the Starlink Mini DC power lead
- Red (+) and black (−) pigtail leads for hardwiring to a battery, fuse block or DC distribution panel
- Keeps the power connection at a fixed, tidy point instead of a loose cable
Applications
- RVs, campers and travel trailers
- Camper vans and overland vehicles
- Boats and marine cabins
- Battery boxes, solar generators and off-grid power cabinets
- Work trucks and mobile command setups
Installation Notes
- Disconnect the battery or open the circuit before you start.
- Mark and cut the panel hole to fit the socket body, then mark the three screw holes using the flange as a template.
- Feed the pigtail through the panel and fasten the flange with three screws.
- Connect red to positive (+) through an inline fuse or fused circuit sized for your wiring, and black to negative (−).
- Check polarity with a meter before you plug in the Starlink Mini.
- Close the dust cap when the port isn't in use.
Starlink Mini's published input rating is 12–48 V DC, 60 W max (average draw 25–40 W). Size your wire and fuse for that load and your run length. Starlink Standard (Gen3) needs 48 V PoE power, so it can't run directly from a 12 V socket. Use a step-up converter such as our 12 V to 48 V converter.
FAQ
Which Starlink dish does this work with?
It's intended for the Starlink Mini, which runs on DC power. Starlink Standard needs a 48 V PoE supply.
Is this an official Starlink product?
No. It's a compatible accessory sold by Conversions Tech, not made or endorsed by Starlink or SpaceX.
Do I need a fuse?
Yes. Always protect the positive lead with a fuse or breaker sized for your wire gauge.
How is it different from your aluminum pass-through DC socket?
The aluminum pass-through socket ends in a plug-in pigtail. This socket has bare red and black leads for hardwiring to your DC system.
Where does it ship from?
Same-day shipping on in-stock items.
