Conversions Tech mechanical lugs use stainless steel set screws to secure conductors without crimping — ideal for panel terminations, breaker connections, and service equipment where conductors may need to be re-terminated. Cu/AL dual-rated lugs: These accept both copper and aluminum conductors in the same lug. For aluminum conductors always apply oxide-inhibiting compound and torque to the aluminum specification. Never mix torque values.
