Mechanical Lug Selection Guide

Conversions Tech mechanical lugs use stainless steel set screws to secure conductors without crimping — ideal for panel terminations, breaker connections, and service equipment where conductors may need to be re-terminated. Available in copper alloy and aluminum, with single-barrel, two-barrel, and grounding configurations. UL 486A/B listed. Click any row for full specs and torque values.

Cu/AL dual-rated lugs: These accept both copper and aluminum conductors in the same lug. For aluminum conductors always apply oxide-inhibiting compound and torque to the aluminum specification. Never mix torque values.

Torque values are nominal. Always follow the specific product instruction sheet and applicable NEC/panel manufacturer requirements. Strip lengths are minimum — verify with conductor manufacturer. For aluminum conductors, apply UL-listed oxide-inhibiting compound before insertion.
