Tin plated copper alloy split bolt for taps and splices in gutters, wireways, pull boxes and grounding systems. Electro tin plated bolt, nut, spacer and pressure bar, so the same connector lands copper or aluminum conductors in the marked range (dual rated AL9CU, 90 °C). Suitable for circuits rated 35 kV and below with proper spacing and insulation. Cast copper alloy body, true hex for standard tooling.

Installation
- Strip both conductors to the strip length, wire brush aluminum and apply oxide inhibitor.
- Lay the run and tap conductors side by side in the slot with the pressure bar between them.
- Tighten the nut to 385 lb-in with a calibrated wrench, then insulate the finished joint to the conductor rating.
