The 1-gang die-cast weatherproof box is engineered for wet, damp, or dry location installations requiring single-device housing for switches, receptacles, or GFCIs. The seamless die-cast aluminum construction with electrostatic powder-coat finish provides corrosion resistance for outdoor and industrial environments. Three ¾" threaded hubs enable flexible conduit entry configurations for branch circuit wiring.

What conduit sizes does this box accept?

The three hubs are ¾" NPT threaded. Use ¾" rigid conduit, IMC, or liquidtight flexible metal conduit with compatible fittings. Closure plugs are included for unused hubs.

Is this box NEMA 3R rated for rain protection?

Yes. NEMA 3R rating provides protection against falling rain, sleet, and external ice formation. Install with appropriate weatherproof cover for complete wet-location compliance per NEC 406.9.

Does the 18.3 cu in capacity meet code for my conductor fill?

18.3 cubic inches satisfies NEC Article 314.16 for common 1-gang device configurations. Calculate conductor fill: 14 AWG = 2.00 cu in per conductor, 12 AWG = 2.25 cu in, 10 AWG = 2.50 cu in. Count all conductors plus device yoke allowance.
