The PRO6000 is a 2-in-1 battery hydraulic compression lug crimper and cable cutter. One 18 V tool body takes a 12-ton crimping head for copper and aluminum compression lugs and splices from 6 AWG to 750 kcmil, and an interchangeable cutting head that cuts copper and aluminum cable up to 1-1/8 in. Cut the conductor and crimp the lug with one battery tool instead of carrying a hand crimper, a manual hydraulic pump and a cable cutter.

Why crews pick a battery crimper and cutter combo

  • Two tools in one case. Swap between the crimp head and the cutter head on the same body.
  • Battery hydraulic power. A full 12-ton crimp in about 4 to 6 seconds with no pumping, so the last lug of the day gets the same crimp as the first.
  • Standard 12-ton U-dies. Uses the same die index and color code as the major lug brands, so dies you already own fit. See our dies by index and the 19-piece die kit.
  • Two 18 V lithium-ion batteries and a charger, so one charges while the other works.
  • Ready to work: tool, crimp head, cutting head, dies, batteries, charger and strap in a hard case.

FAQ

Can one tool crimp lugs and cut cable?

Yes. The PRO6000 uses interchangeable heads: a 12-ton crimping head for compression lugs and a cutting head for copper and aluminum cable up to 1-1/8 in.

Will my existing 12-ton dies fit?

It takes standard 12-ton U-style dies. Dies with the same index and color code as the major lug brands fit.

Does it crimp aluminum lugs?

Yes, copper and aluminum compression lugs and splices from 6 AWG to 750 kcmil with the matching die.

Battery crimper or manual hydraulic?

For a few crimps a week the manual 12-ton ProCrimp12T is enough. For daily crimping choose a battery tool: the PRO6000 if you also cut cable, or the PowerProFlex12T for crimping only. Compare all three in hydraulic crimping tools.

Lugs and splices to go with it
