Crimp It Right
3/0 AWG → Die Index 50 Orange
This lug crimps with any 12-ton U-groove tool using the index-50 die — ours, or your matching die: Burndy® U27RT — Milwaukee® 49-12-U03AC — ILSCO® ILD-50, or T&B® Color-Keyed® index 50. The die embosses “50” into the finished crimp for inspection.

Long barrel compression lug for terminating 3/0 AWG copper conductors. Features dual 1/4-inch mounting holes on a tin-plated copper pad with chamfered barrel entry for controlled cable insertion. Rated 35 kV. Orange color code for quick conductor size identification. Used in switchgear, transformers, and industrial power distribution where secure two-bolt termination is required.

FAQ

What crimping tool is required for this lug?

Use a compression tool with die index I-50. Verify tool compatibility before installation.

Is this lug suitable for 35 kV applications?

Yes. The lug is rated for 35 kV when properly installed per applicable electrical codes.

Why two holes instead of one?

Dual holes distribute mechanical load and provide redundancy for critical connections. 5/8-inch spacing fits standard busbar configurations.
