This 5MP AHD camera requires a compatible DVR. Use a 4K AHD DVR, 5MP AHD DVR, or 5M-N AHD DVR only. It is not compatible with AHD 4MP, AHD-H 1080P, 1080N, AHD-M 720P, or “common” non-AHD DVRs.

No. It must pair with a 4K AHD, 5MP AHD, or 5M-N AHD DVR. Legacy 1080P/720P or generic DVRs won’t display 5MP AHD.
