A Type C cutout combines a fuse holder and disconnecting device, protecting distribution transformers and overhead lines by interrupting fault and overload current. The fiberglass fuse tube with UV-resistant coating houses the fuse link; on operation the assembly drops out to a visible open position — protection and a visible disconnect for crews in one device. Supplied with fuse holder, pull ring, and contact hardware. Tested per IEEE C37.41, C37.42 and IEC 60282-2. Verify fuse-link type and rating at order.
