Conduit Body Types We Quote
All four major body styles in trade sizes 1/2" through 4". Aluminum, malleable iron, steel, stainless. Form 7 / Form 8 wherever the application demands it.
LB Conduit Bodies
Back access. The most common style — used everywhere conduit needs to change direction with a removable cover for wire pulling.
Materials: Aluminum, malleable iron, copper-free aluminum
Finish: Powder coat or natural
LL Conduit Bodies
90° access on the left side. Tight-quarters runs where the cover needs to face away from the wall.
Materials: Aluminum, ferrous, non-ferrous
Common crosses: Appleton LL, Crouse-Hinds LL
LR Conduit Bodies
90° access on the right side. Mirror of LL — needed when LL won't fit due to obstructions.
Materials: Aluminum, ferrous, non-ferrous
Common crosses: Appleton LR, Crouse-Hinds LR
C Conduit Bodies
Straight-through with side cover. Pull point on long runs without changing direction.
Materials: Aluminum, ferrous, non-ferrous
Common crosses: Appleton C, Crouse-Hinds C
T Conduit Bodies
Three-way junction. Splits one conduit run into two or joins two into one.
Materials: Aluminum, malleable iron
Common crosses: Appleton T, Crouse-Hinds T
X Conduit Bodies
Four-way cross. Junction point for four conduit entries — distribution panels, manifold assemblies.
Materials: Aluminum, malleable iron
Common crosses: Appleton X, Crouse-Hinds X

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between LB, LL, LR, and C conduit bodies?
The letter designates where the cover and access opening are positioned relative to the conduit run. LB has the cover on the back. LL opens to the left as you face the long axis. LR opens to the right. C opens straight through (used as a pull point on long runs without changing direction). T is a three-way junction. X is a four-way cross. The choice depends on how much clearance you have and which side the cover needs to face for installation and future access.
Do you stock conduit bodies in stainless steel?
Yes — we quote 304 and 316 stainless conduit bodies for marine, food-grade, pharmaceutical, and corrosive industrial applications. Lead times are typically 2–3 weeks for stainless since they're built-to-order, but we have aluminum and malleable iron in standard inventory for same-day shipping.
Can you cross-reference Form 7 vs Form 8 Crouse-Hinds parts?
Yes. Form 7 is the older, lighter-duty standard; Form 8 is the current generation with deeper bodies for easier wire pulling and better sealing. We'll match Form 7 to Form 7 by default, but flag any opportunity to upgrade to Form 8 in the same trade size at competitive pricing.
What's your minimum order quantity?
No MOQ. Order one piece or ten thousand — pricing scales with quantity. Bulk pricing kicks in at quantities of 25+ for most SKUs, with significant breaks at 100, 500, and 1,000.
How fast can you turn around a quote?
Stocked items: instant — our quote system gives you pricing in under 60 seconds. Items requiring vendor sourcing (custom sizes, exotic materials, hazardous-location ratings): typically within 1 business day after our team confirms specs with you.
Are your conduit bodies UL listed?
The conduit bodies we source meet UL 514B (cast metallic boxes) and NEC compliance for the trade size and material listed. UL listing varies by manufacturer and we confirm the specific listing on every quote. For hazardous locations (Class I Div 1/2, Class II), we source UL 1203 / 886 listed bodies through our specialty channels.
Do you sell conduit bodies online or only by quote?
Both. Standard SKUs are listed on our site for direct purchase; less common configurations or bulk orders go through our quote system, which often gets you better pricing than the listed price. If you're ordering more than 10 of anything, get a quote first.
